Bayern Innovativ Gesellschaft für Innovation und Wissenstransfer mbH

Bayern Innovativ GmbH is one of the major hubs for innovation and cooperation in Europe. It was founded in Nuremberg in 1995 with the mission to promote innovation and knowledge transfer by the Free State of Bavaria conjointly with representatives from industry and science.

New developments are initiated by intensifying the interdisciplinary collaboration between companies and the transfer of research results from scientific institutes. Organising various dedicated congresses, cooperation fora and joint stands on high-tech exhibitions, Bayern Innovativ has succeeded in setting up internationally oriented networks in 10 technologies and sectors, supported by a professional, multimedia-based information and knowledge transfer.

At present, the networks of Bayern Innovativ GmbH comprise 55,000 companies and 500 institutes in 50 countries.

Since 2006, Bayern Innovativ GmbH is managing clusters of the Bavarian Cluster Offensive.
