GCRI Opening
German research and innovation now have an address in North America: On Friday, February 19, 2010, the Federal Research Minister, Prof. Dr. Annette Schavan, and Ambassador Dr. Klaus Scharioth, together with the President of the German Research Foundation (DFG), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Matthias Kleiner, and the Vice President of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Max Huber, opened the German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) in New York.
